‘NBA 전국구 스타’ 르브론 제임스, 모바일에서도 인기 폭발
삼성전자는 미국프로농구협회(NBA)와 협력해 ‘NBA 전국구 스타’로 유명한 르브론 제임스(LeBron James) 선수를 모바일 앱 광고모델로 선정, 경기장 안팎에서 활약하는 그의 모습을 다양하게 보여주는 애플리케이션(이하 '앱') '르브론 앱'을 출시했습니다.
르브론 앱엔 르브론 제임스 출전 경기 하이라이트 영상과 코트 위 모습은 물론, 다양한 일상 모습까지 담겨 있는데요. 해당 앱은 삼성전자 갤럭시 시리즈 스마트폰과 태블릿 기기에서 다운로드할 수 있습니다.

실제로 르브론 앱 출시 직후 미국 145개 매체가 관련 소식을 전하며 열띤 보도 경쟁을 벌였는데요. 특히 스포츠 전문 매체 '스포츠 일러스트레이티드(Sports Illustrated)'와 IT 전문 온라인 매체 매셔블(Mashable)은 이 앱에 대해 "르브론 제임스의 경기 모습과 인생, 여정을 전혀 새로운 콘텐츠로 접할 수 있는 지름길(all-access pass to LeBron’s game, life and journey with never-before-seen content and clips)"이라고 호평하기도 했습니다.
